Life Is Strange developer Dontnod recently confirmed that a full sequel is in development, but Before the Storm, which is being developed by Colorado-based studio Deck Nine, should tide fans over for the time being.
The first episode of Before the Storm is set to release on August 31 this year, though it's unclear how frequently the following episodes will drop after that or how much the entire season will cost.
Today, during Xbox's E3 presentation, Microsoft revealed Life is Strange: Before the Storm.

Developers DONTNOD will not be developing the prequel. Life is unusual 2 will continue the deep story telling, allowing you to examine and interact with everything, as well as offering more puzzle solving quests.
Life Is Strange grabbed gamers' hearts and gained a big following since its release in 2015.
A prequel to the original game, the trailer shown during the announcement features several characters from the original including Chloe, Rachel, and Max.
