Rihanna wears show-stopping Giambattista Valli gown to Valerian premiere

On Monday, Rihanna, 29, attended the premiere of "Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets" in London, England, where she turned heads in a red low-cut Giambattista Valli gown that showed off her tattoos and some major cleavage.

While her look was certainly dramatic, Cara Delevingne's red carpet look also deserves some attention for its eye-catching nature.

This week she told Radio Times magazine that she "didn't like myself as a model".

Next week will see Luc Besson's new science fiction film, Valerian And The City Of A Thousand Planets, hit cinemas, with the premiere taking place just yesterday.

"Now I am starting to understand women's empowerment a lot more and how I want to lift other women up".

Meanwhile Cara has been distancing herself from her former career as a model, saying she doesn't "give a s**t" about what she looks like. I didn't like what it was turning me into. "Now it's become a creative outlet, instead of me being used as a pawn".

But after trying her hand at acting, the star said she felt like a weight had been lifted from her shoulders and that a return to modelling would be on her own terms.

Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets is slated for United Kingdom cinema release on August 2. "It makes me very happy".

The sci-fi fantasy follows Dane's character Valerian and Cara's Laureline as they try to protect the city of Alpha from a mysterious dark force which threatens the eclectic population of different species residing in the peaceful metropolis.
