One of the women allegedly texted Bolling, 54, and told him to stop sending her such photos, the Huffington Post article said.

"Eric Bolling has been suspended pending the results of an investigation, which is now under way", Fox News released in a statement to several outlets.

After receiving the messages reportedly from Bolling, the women told their colleagues that they were deeply offended and upset. Here's the full statement: "Eric Bolling has been suspended pending the results of an investigation, which is now underway".

Fox host Sean Hannity and Fox Business Network host Charles Payne have also been accused of sexual misconduct, though those allegations have fallen on their face. The probe is being conducted by Paul Weiss, the same law firm that looked into allegations of sexual harassment against former Fox chairman Roger Ailes and former host Bill O'Reilly, Fox said.

Back in June, Fox News president of programming Suzanne Scott resigned Bolling to a long-term contract, noting the host had become "a staple of the Fox News brand".

Mr Bolling once likening a bombing campaign against Isis to having "boobs on the ground" because it was lead by the United Arab Emirate's first female fighter pilot.

NBC News was not able to independently verify the allegations.

Fox News host Eric Bolling has been suspended from the network after an explosive report accused of him sending dick pics to colleagues.

Bolling serves as one of the co-hosts of "The Specialists", a new program on the Fox News Channel. He now serves as co-host of the evening talk show "The Five". He is an avid defender of President Donald Trump and has frequently drawn praise from the president. Bolling can often be seen aggressively defending Trump on the network, and his loyalty has been repaid.

NPR received a statement from Fox News about the issue.

According to the Huffington Post, Bolling was also caught making misogynistic comments on air.
