Star Wars Battlefront II: Starfighter Assault is the Air Superiority of Space

It is important to note, however, that the footage is not part of the title's gameplay, but instead only an in-engine video.

EA and DICE have released a new Star Wars Battlefront 2 trailer which gives you a look at some of the maps and space battles located in various areas of the game.

Fighting in what's left of the second Death Star in the aftermath of Return of the Jedi is exciting because it's not only hitting the nostalgia button, but we're moving the plot along to see how familiar locations have changed. The clips move on over to Darth Vader in his special Tie Fighter, as he directs his Imperial squad to take out the Rebel scum. As you'd expect, there are iconic ships like X-wings, Y-wings, TIE Fighters and the Millennium Falcon. Darth Maul zooms between the research outpost structures of Kamino in his Sith Interceptor while Yoda is in hot pursuit in his own Jedi starfighter behind him.

Then, the Lucrehulk-class Battleship is shown in the next scene.

You can check that our during an EA livestream happening on Monday, August 21 at 12:30pm ET at EA's official site.
