The Early Rotten Tomatoes Rating For Kingsman: The Golden Circle Revealed

Kingsman: The Secret Service pitched itself as a spy series for the modern world.

When we pick up the story of Gary "Eggsy" Unwin (Taron Egerton), the once rough-around-the-edges hero in training is now a full-fledged agent with Kingsmen, an independent intelligence agency in England that uses the public cover of being a high-end tailoring business. The Statesman work in a way that is different to the Kingsman line of thinking but at the end of the day, they are in agreement. Refreshingly, Mark Strong's Merlin has a beefed-up role, since a diminished lineup of Kingsman forces the character to step up and aid Eggsy against Julianne Moore's extremely villainous, yet still adorable, Poppy. While Poppy's tactics will leave people wondering whether she's right or wrong in her goal, people will no doubt be rooting for her demise at the same time. (As well as a zillion squats to try and get her to come-mamas you know what I'm saying) Nothing makes me happier or feel more alive than connecting with nature. It couldn't even commit to the bravest thing the first one did, which was keep Galahad (Colin Firth), the first film's mentor figure, dead. After all, he was shot point blank by Richard Valentine (Samuel L. Jackson) in Kingsman: The Secret Service.

So, yeah, there's a lot-Elton John, robot dogs, a revived Harry Hart. oh, and there's also a crashing gondola in the Italian Alps, a sexy escapade at the Glastonbury Festival, and a bellowed but oddly moving rendition of a John Denver song.

. It's a good ten minutes of screen time for a joke that boils down to "lol fingering". I'd rank it with Melissa McCarthy's performance in Bridesmaids. It is yet another sequel that merely promises you that "Next time, you'll get a straightforward adventure with these fine folks!' Aside from a few moments of timely politics, it lacks both the danger of its predecessor or the courage that comes with being a follow-up to a well-liked original".

The film features singing by Mark Strong in what's proven to be a great year for films starring Channing Tatum and featuring John Denver songs on the soundtrack.

Kingsman: The Golden Circle hits theaters on Sep. That's all I'll say about that, but boy did I have fun. And then after that then, of course, there could be Statesman movies, there could be spinoff character films. If this is their way of apologizing, my fellow Kentuckians should forgive them for the events that transpired during the first Kingsman. While there were sequences that were fun to watch, nothing can outdo it. Jim Vejvoda from IGN Movies states, "Kingsman: The Golden Circle is as cheeky, cartoonish, and insane as its predecessor, but it's also commendably unafraid to demolish what had come before it if it's in the service of the story".
