Packers vs. Bengals: Scouting the enemy in Week 3

Jordy Nelson left the Green Bay Packers' game against the Atlanta Falcons early on Sunday night and never returned, leading some to speculate that he may have suffered a serious injury. Keep in mind, fellow veteran wideout Randall Cobb also exited Sunday's game in the fourth quarter with an injury.

The Pack's injury report reads like a who's who this week as 13 players were listed after both Wednesday and Thursday practices with many front liners a longshot to play this weekend. This could spell trouble for the Packers as the Bengals have allowed an average of just 105 passing yards a game this year, best in the National Football League so far.

"I want to be out there now", House said on Wednesday.

Also in the good news department: Right tackle Bryan Bulaga (ankle), who has missed both regular-season games so far after going down during an August 23 practice, also practiced fully. "I anticipate him practicing Saturday and then we will take it from there".

ESPN said that not only are they doing fine post-Super Bowl appearance, but that new offensive coordinator Steve Sarkisian should have silenced doubters. There were more players from Atlanta treated on the sidelines though and Green Bay was supposed to in because they came into the game "healthy", which makes this comment curious at the very least. The first two meetings resulted in a Packers loss. "There's always room for improvement, so I'm continually trying to get better, but I think I'm pretty comfortable in my role".

The run defense should get back into form as Cincinnati hasn't gotten it's ground game going yet.

"It was a positive start (to be) moving around and not have too much restricted movement or anything like that". He finished a year ago wearing a large, padded club to protect it. So did linebacker Ahmad Brooks, who has been cleared from his Week 1 concussion.

Joe Flacco didn't complete a pass in the second half of the game, his first since missing all of training camp and the preseason with a bad back. "I was upset that I couldn't do that at that time".
