Gemma Collins Responds To Her Radio 1 Teen Awards Fall Going Viral


Thankfully, Gemma didn't suffer any serious injuries but has said she was left in "agony" following the nasty fall, which happened in front of 12,500 concert goers and was live on air.

Gemma Collins has opened up about her incredibly eventful day at the Radio 1 Teen Awards when she fell through a trap door on stage.

The meme queen shocked the audience at the bash when she fell through the hole after announcing Love Island had won the gong for Best TV Show.

Speaking to The Sun, Gemma revealed that she had been offered a chance to release a single and may take a break from the reality show.

The 36-year-old later added: 'Well guys despite being mortified that I almost wiped love island peeps out so sorry guys I had a ball with [hosts] Rita Ora and Nick Grimshaw'.

When asked on This Morning if she was aware the stage would be moving, she admitted: 'I'm not allowed to discuss that at the minute'. "I've got a bit of a booty and thank God for that because it has protected me". "Don't worry everyone xx best and worst moment of my life", she tweeted in another message.

She added: "It's just one of these moments I don't think I'm ever going to live down".

He shared a picture of Collins on Instagram and wrote: "You fell on stage, I fell off one".

However, Gemma being Gemma then joked that the incident might give her leverage to get on Strictly Come Dancing in 2018.

'Apart from just stacking it on stage I'm having the best time of my life, ' she later told the show hosts Nick Grimshaw and Rita Ora.

"Guys it's ok I'm alive I've always said I'm like Bridget Jones".

Collins posted the video of the horrific incident onto her Twitter profile with the words: "Madonna done it and I done it when I tell you I'm Bridget Jones in an Essex girl it's finally confirmed best and worse moment for me".
