Pochettino 'confident' Kane will face Madrid

Real Madrid's first ever trip to Wembley to face Tottenham Hotspur in the Champions League on Wednesday will come as a welcome distraction to the European and Liga holders in the midst of their worst domestic run of results in five years.

Although Real are stuck in a rut, they remain level on points with Tottenham at the top of Group H and can qualify for the last 16 with two games to spare if they beat the Premier League side, who have their own problems after successive losses to Manchester United and West Ham.

"With the doctors and the player, we will take the best decision for everyone", Pochettino said with regards to Kane's involvement against Real, as quoted by Sky Sports. "We're feeling good and we're thinking about the game". The Spanish manager says he is confident that Kane should be able to play and hinted that his side will not be shackled against the might of Real Madrid.

The attacking midfielder's red card for a awful tackle in last season's Europa League exit at the hands of Belgian side Gent made him ineligible for Tottenham's first three Champions League games this season.

Wanyama was instrumental in Spurs' push for the Premier League title, last season.

"Yes, we are going to be fearless. I'm not anxious. We didn't expect this after winning four games in a row but we still want to win the league". We can only analyse the game they have played in the Champions League and 15 days ago in the Bernabéu. "They are a club with a chance to do great things".

Real trail eight points behind leaders Barcelona after losing two and drawing two of their opening 10 games and Zidane has faced pointed questions about his tactics and motivational abilities for the first time. They'll hopefully be more expansive than their recent displays. I genuinely expect it to be much closer than the reverse tie in terms of performance and result.

"I don't think it's more hard to attack three defenders". We have seen that in the away game.

I tell you what, if they win this then Manchester City deserve to be among the favourites to win the Champions League.

"We have one day more to test him, but I think maybe it can be possible that he will be available tomorrow".

"As for me, I played in the old Wembley and that was a great feeling".
