Hazard says he'll sign Chelsea contract after Courtois

Chelsea star Eden Hazard has reassured anxious supporters about his future by admitting he is planning to sign a new deal with the champions.

"Tomorrow night I think is very soon, very soon for him", Conte said.

Courtois, whose deal expires in 2019, added: "Do Eden and I encourage each other to sign? Yes. Then I will sign", Hazard told.

Both the players have been linked with moves away from England in recent weeks with Real Madrid touted to be their next destination.

Chelsea are now third on the points table behind the two Manchester Clubs.

The 27-year-old signed for the Blues from French side Lille back in 2012 and has been a regular fixture in the first team, winning the Premier League title twice so far with the west London side. Manchester City lead the league table as they are 15 points ahead of Manchester United and 16 points ahead of Chelsea.

However, Radio Monte Carlo claims that Real Madrid have held talks over a potential move for Hazard - who is manager Zinedine Zidane's top transfer target.

On the other hand, Thibaut Courtois has only a year left on his Chelsea contract and is expected to renew it soon.

Hazard's statement will come as a huge relief for Chelsea fans, who were becoming increasingly fearful he would leave to sign for La Liga giants Real Madrid. Every year, things were said about me but I stayed.

"When you miss them, you are sometimes wondering: 'Shouldn't I play in Spain in the next few years?' That's why I want to take my time to make a decision on that contract extension".
