Everton v West Brom

Walcott is expected to be named on the right wing in Sam Allardyce's line-up for the visit of West Bromwich Albion and a positive beginning to his Everton career would be timely.

Walcott was unveiled as an Everton player on Friday following the completion of his £20m move north and is raring to make his Goodison Park debut this weekend having spent the large part of this season on the sidelines.

Everton are on a on a four-game losing streak, whereas Alan Pardew's West Brom side are on the up... two wins on the bounce for the Baggies. It was the defenders who took most of the credit for their efforts both in defence and attack, something which nearly seems like a call back to the strengths West Brom showed last season before their form deserted them towards the final few matches.

Everton started this game like they have multiple others this campaign - disjointed, uncoordinated and mostly unwilling to put in the hard work.

It was a solid team performance from West Brom with every player contributing to the win.

"There was a period last season when the starts weren't coming any more", said Walcott, who scored 19 goals last term.

Lennon, 30, could find first-team opportunities with the Toffees limited following Theo Walcott's arrival from Arsenal and the return of Yannick Bolaise, with sources telling ESPN FC that Newcastle were considering a move for the ex-England man. Relegation is looking very likely and as a result, they need wins.

Despite Everton's lengthy injury list being reduced, Allardyce still has a reduced choice in defence with Leighton Baines (calf) Michael Keane (foot) Funes Mori (knee) and Seamus Coleman (leg) all still unavailable.

Nacer Chadli and James Morrison are likely to remain out for several weeks. "It's our home games that will determine our future, but on the away games we've got to win the odd game and pick up as many points as possible".

"I wasn't thinking I was going to get there", he said ahead of becoming only the 31st manager in the modern era of English football to reach the landmark.
