Kim Kardashian shared her newborn baby daughter's name earlier this morning much to fans delight.

The 37-year-old first announced the unique moniker on Friday, by sharing the news on her mobile app. Kardashian's post read, "Chicago West".

Khloe took to Twitter today after the name of her newest niece had been publically revealed to gush about the choice and explain the pronunciation of the baby's nickname. "And to everyone who thinks it's literally pronounced as CHI. No".

Actress Busy Philipps has voiced her support for the name.

The hospital is known as the preferred place for Hollywood celebrities to give birth, and it's the facility where the couple welcomed Chicago's big sister North, 4, and older brother Saint, 2. World get ready to meet Chicago West!

Kim announced the birth of Chicago in a similar way, by tweeting out a link to her site announcing the birth.

The reality star is pictured attending Harper's BAZAAR Celebration of "ICONS By Carine Roitfeld" on September 8, 2017 in New York City. Kim suffered from placenta accreta during her two pregnancies, which means the placenta's blood vessels attach too deeply to the uterus' wall, and can lead to complications such as blood loss and the inability to conceive again.

Kardashian West's surrogate was discussed on her reality show Keeping up with the Kardashians, but her identity was not revealed.
