Land Rover says: 'The seductive coupe design pays homage to the original Range Rover, in Land Rover's 70th Anniversary year.' The 1970 original launched as a two-door, don't forget and that shape is its most coveted iteration.
Land Rover's Range Rover is about to receive the coupe treatment.
Land Rover will unveil its new Range Rover SV Coupé, the world's first full-size "luxury SUV coupe", at the Geneva motor show in early March, the automaker announced late January.
The coolest examples of the Range Rover Classic will always be those with two doors. Each will be hand-built at the SV Technical Centre in Warwickshire, and sold for a pricetag that'll no doubt be best described as reassuringly expensive. Gorgeous figured wood trim coats the dashboard and console, and the front and rear seating areas get their own distinct color environments: white leather fore and navy blue leather aft. Just this one interior photo has been released to date; we'll be publishing exterior photos and more details in the weeks ahead.More news: In security update, Apple backports Meltdown fix to older macOS versions

As not much is revealed about this two-door Range Rover, the price, as per AutoExpress, is expected to command a hefty premium over the current range, topping Range Rover SV Autobiography Long Wheelbase, with a tag pushing £250,000 envelope.
Land Rover Special Vehicle Operations director John Edwards added: "Land Rover created the luxury SUV sector with Range Rover nearly 50 years ago". The vehicle will be revealed at the Geneva Motor Show in March, when we'll find out more about how much it'll cost, when you'll be able to buy it, and how you'll be able to personalise it.
In a statement, Land Rover's head of design, Gerry McGovern, said the Range Rover would have "peerless refinement and breathtaking exterior proportions".
