Here's what's new with Windows 10 Insider build 17093 for PC

Windows 10 S will instead be making use of the Microsoft Authenticator app.

"You will be able to go through the out-of-box experience, set up Windows Hello and access all your favorite apps and services - all without ever having to enter your password", continued the Microsoft executives. Progressive Web Apps (not to be confused with Android's native "Instant Apps") use relatively fresh new web technologies to make websites work better offline or with intermittent connections, and often mimic native features like push notifications.

Microsoft is expected to begin rolling out the first "Redstone 5" test builds some time relatively soon, starting with those in the "Skip Ahead" ring.

Of course, that's not the only improvement coming with the next Windows Insider build. In general the power saving GPU is the integrated GPU on a system, and the high performance GPU is the discrete GPU or external GPU. Users watching HDR video on a laptop might want to approach the feature with caution because HDR playback uses the full brightness of the display.

This includes a HDR calibration tool built directly into the operating system.

There are also new graphics settings for multi-GPU systems (Settings = System = Display = Advanced graphics settings). But according to Microsoft, there can't be one recommendation out of UWP and PWA as "the Universal Windows Platform fully embraces the Progressive Web Apps" and EdgeHTML is also the foundational base of UWP apps.

The one and only Bug Bash for the next Windows 10 release may still be ongoing, but the Windows Insider team chose to release a fresh new Insider build today. It is an interesting update for PC gamers and enthusiasts as it delivers quite a few new features with a focus on gaming and entertainment. And there's a new "clutter-free printing" option in the print dialog for Microsoft Edge.

The software giant has also incorporated basic privacy measures, including being able to delete data gathered by the Diagnostic Data Viewer, which was installed by the Windows Insider Build 17983.

Windows Security Improvements: Windows Defender has been renamed to Windows Security and can be found in Settings Update & Security. The notes don't provide a rollout day for Redstone 4, but its Bug Bash initiative ends on February 11.
