In terms of specifications, the new Nokia 6 variant is nearly the same as that of the previous model (except the RAM and storage).
HMD Global has silently introduced a new variant of the Nokia 6 smartphone in India with more RAM and double storage. It is powered by a Snapdragon 430 processor and Adreno 505 GPU, paired with 4GB of RAM and an internal storage of 64GB which can be further expanded up to 128GB via microSD card.
The 3GB RAM variant is priced at 14,999 and the 4GB RAM variant will go a sale at the best buy price of 16,999 with an additional exchange discount up to Rs.2000 as a launch offer.
According to HMD Global, the Nokia 6 (4GB) will go on sale starting February 20 exclusively at Flipkart.com. Which means, the Nokia 6 (4GB) comes with a metal unibody design and features a 5.5-inch full HD (1080p) IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass on top. The smartphone houses a 3000mAh battery, and runs Android Nougat 7.1.1 out-of-the box. The f/2.0 aperture lenses and exclusive camera UI with automatic scene detection make it easy to take great shots every time. There is also an 8MP front-facing camera with 84-degree wide angle lens and f/2.0 aperture. Overall, the Nokia 6 doesn't inspire confidence when it comes to specifications, but HMD is doing what it has been doing since its entry to the Indian market. For connectivity, the smartphone supports options like dual-SIM support, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.1, GPS, AGPS, NFC and micro USB port.
