A report in Chinese website QQ.com claims that the Cupertino giant will launch the smartphone at its annual developers conference, Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC), in June 2018. This will be the first time that Apple will launch an iPhone at Apple's developers' conference.
Whenever the iPhone SE 2 does arrive, the report asserts that it'll look just like its predecessor, complete with a Touch ID-supporting home button and a metal back and frame. And the phone's display will be surrounded with thick bezels at the top and bottom. Apart from that, Apple's 2018 lineup is also rumored to include the successor of iPhone SE. The report further mentions that the iPhone will be powered by the latest A10 fusion chipset, which is present in the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. It means either there is no iPhone SE 2 or it won't have any major design changes. KGI's Ming-Chi Kuo has heard nothing, suggesting either that it isn't coming at all, or that it will be a spec bump too minor to show up in supply chain reports. Apple is also manufacturing the iPhone SE in India. As for the price is concerned, the iPhone SE 2 is reported to be priced at 4,000 Yuan in China, which roughly translates to Rs 40,858. The analyst told clients that Apple doesn't have sufficient spare development resources to launch yet another smartphone.
We saw last year how Apple had to delay the iPhone X launch as the company managed to introduce three iPhones in the same year.More news: 'ALLAHU AKBAR': Gunman kills 4 at Russian Federation church, shot dead by cops

The other two models will be the iPhone Xs which will feature a 5.8-inch OLED display along with a much bigger variant named iPhone Xs Plus with a 6.5-inch OLED display.
Apple hasn't yet announced the dates for the WWDC 2018 event. It's the same venue where the 2017 edition of WWDC was held.
