After so much promo and "hype", Brock Lesnar went up against Vince McMahon's beloved Roman Reigns and his non-existent empire. Jax had been the brunt of bullying and body-shaming for weeks, so seeing her finally reach the mountaintop was an fantastic moment.
Another shocking turn of events saw Shinsuke Nakamura turn a heel against AJ Styles. Great old school mixed tag match. It was something to behold to put things mildly.
Lesnar's contract expired Sunday night after his win over Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 34 in the main event. This was terrible and there's no other way to describe it.
Terms of the deal were not announced, but Lesnar's next match was.
The WWE saved its biggest WrestleMania "swerve" for the end Sunday night. Vince McMahon, still the unilateral decider within WWE's power structure, is famously hostile to rethinking his choices for who belongs where on the card.
The match actually was quite good.
