Bethesda Might Be Teasing A New Fallout Game

As is expected of the fan community surrounding Bethesda Game Studios, speculation has been running wild about the company's plans for months now, with most rumours suggesting the next title from the studio will be a space-themed RPG called Starfield. Developer Bethesda Game Studios just posted a mysterious Tweet that seemingly alludes to a Fallout announcement coming soon.

The tweet doesn't give much context, but it includes a retro-looking GIF that may be a nod to the Fallout series' old-school aesthetic.

Bethesda is teasing something Fallout related today. The "Please Stand By" image has appeared in the franchise since the release of Fallout 3 at least. We might hear that they're now working on Fallout 5. While Bethesda continues to tease their announcement on Twitch, it hopefully won't be too long before we're able to see what exactly they have in store.

The multi-colored nature of the slide, rather than a traditional green, is interesting, and may point to a return to the world of Obsidian's New Vegas entry (2012), which was notably jazzier with its color palette than other entries in the series.

The good news about this tease is that Bethesda doesn't like to drag out release dates after a game has been revealed.

Something Fallout-related is about to be announced...

Bethesda will also hold its E3 press conference on Sunday, June 10th, so we will probably hear more about it there as well.
