In iOS 12 there's a new "Weekly Summary" feature that'll tell you how much you use your phone per week.

iOS 12 also focuses on augmented reality.
Using drag and drop steps, you can save the voice commands within individual apps. LEGO, among other companies, are on board to create apps that share the same AR environments. Reports have suggested that Apple will not launch any new hardware at the event.
The update comes as Apple tries to extend AR experiences to a broader population, rather than just hard-core, tech-savvy users.
In terms of new software, there's plenty of smoke around big iOS 12 reveals, a watchOS 5 unveiling, and even ARKit 2.0.

The software update will also let people group similar tasks together into shortcuts that can be accessed by simple phrases like "heading home".
Among the notable additions: a standalone Measure app that's like a virtual tape measure, third-party app support for CarPlay, grouped notifications, and customizable animated avatars called Memoji.
Voice Memos: a new design and iPad availability. iCloud support is also coming so your voice recordings will sync across your devices. Users will also be able to search by business or place names, or even events such as a concert.
As with all Apple software updates, enhanced privacy and security remain a top priority in iOS 12. Safari now also presents simplified system information when users browse the web, preventing them from being tracked based on their system configuration. (Lego app users will soon be able to hold an iOS device over certain Lego sets to play a multiplayer games). Faster and More Responsive iOS 12 is created to make everyday tasks on iPhone and iPad faster and more responsive with performance improvements across the system.
Universal apps make a lot of sense for Apple - after all, the company has pitched the iPad Pro as a laptop replacement.
