"The most lawless frontier in all the Reef, the Tangled Shore is a risky web of asteroids lashed together". Well, for starters that's you (it me!) dropping down and walking with Cayde-6 on what appears to be The Reef. Cade has been throwing risky criminals into the Prison of Elders. Beyond the Vanguard's authority, you'll pursue these fugitives deep into the Reef. Guardians are then tasked with investigating the situation, and along the way they'll "explore new regions, awaken new powers, and earn powerful weapons". The hunt is on.
The Destiny 2 Bow, however, marks the first major departure from the other ranged weapons in the game.
We also have some eye-popping 8K Destiny 2: Forsaken screenshots for you. The expansion is on track for a September 8th, 2018 release and will set existing players back around $39.99.More news: Trump confirms June 12 meeting with Kim in Singapore

There's a new mode called Gambit. Teams compete in separate arenas to defeat enemies, collect motes and bank them in order to release you main boss.
Additionally, random rolls will make a return to Destiny 2, however, it's now still in testing. A super with fire knives was seen on the Hunter class, a super with a large hammer was seen on the Titan class, and the Warlock class will get a new super with void abilities that allows teleportation. But be sure to stay tuned, as we've got a bunch of other stories ready to go in 30 minutes or less.
Below is a quick checklist of what's included in the Gambit game mode. Not a lot of details were offered on how this system will be reigned in to ensure players aren't rocket spamming the game, but we'll find out more in the coming months. One of the many new announcements was the Destiny 2 Annual Pass, a new sort of expansion pass launching alongside Forsaken that will give players access to three new expansions after the launch of Forsaken. The Prison of Elders has experienced a prison break where eight deadly Barons roam free in the new Tangled Shore destination and must be brought to justice. If Bungie wants to move into China, even with NetEase at the board, they'll need to clear it with Activision first. Oh, and a new way for Bungie to make money-the "Annual Pass", which will be timed with the new seasons and add lore, new triumph records, weapons and armor, endgame challenges, and more.
