Demi Lovato Still Hospitalized, Reportedly Suffering ‘Complications’ From Overdose

The 38-year-old That 70s Show star, who dated Lovato for nearly six years until 2016, was spotted at the hospital on Wednesday, a day after her reported overdose, and again on Thursday.

After being hospitalised following an overdose recently, there was an outpouring of support for Demi Lovato.

Though, the former couple haven't been together since June 2016, the actor proved he still cares about the singer with daily visits to her bedside.

"There was a sit-down talk with Demi and her team about a month ago to address her no longer being sober", the source said. "Phil and Demi are very close and it's hard for both of them, but Phil wants what's best for her and if she's not in a good place, he can't work with her".

Speaking to PEOPLE recently, a source explained, "He saw her through so many ups and downs and was her rock through some of her darkest moments".

Lovato was rushed to the hospital last Tuesday (July 24) after her apparent overdose.

Lovato, 25, has been open in the past about her struggles with drugs and alcohol, and she celebrated six years of sobriety this past March.

As we reported last week, Demi is expected to enter rehab following her hospitalization.

It has been claimed that at the time Demi was found, someone had administered Narcan, a drug used to reverse the effects of opioids. "Like all of you, I have nothing but love in my heart for her".

But while Demi is shown an outpouring of love, her backup dancer and close friend Dani Vitale has been the subject of many fans" ire, as it was her birthday the "Sober' singer was out celebrating the Monday night before the incident.
