Emery hails Cech after Everton clean sheet

Arsenal had survived a scare in the opening couple of minutes when Dominic Calvert-Lewin, found by Tom Davies, was unable to round Petr Cech with Richarlison waiting in the middle.

Arsenal manager Unai Emery admits that he has been "surprised" by the criticism aimed at goalkeeper Petr Cech so far this season. To say 'we believe in this team, we know we have a great squad and we can go toe to toe with the big English clubs'. It was their fourth Premier League win in succession.

Edward was at the Emirates Stadium to watch all of the action.

However, some Arsenal fans have taken to social media to slam Ramsey for his latest performance with a selection claiming we should sell the midfielder in January before his contract expires at the end of the season.

"I would rather have had Macclesfield at home but unfortunately we've got to travel to the Emirates which I'm sure all our supporters will be looking forward to", said Smith.

Unai Emery may have got off to a hard start to life at Arsenal, following defeats to Man City and Chelsea, but the Spaniard's methods are now starting to reap the rewards after the Gunners recorded their fifth consecutive win on the spin in all competitions. "Then we scored the goal and I made a decision to stop it and think again about who we need next". This club haven't won the league for more than ten years so you need to get back into knowing how to do it.

Arsenal could easily have been a couple of goals down in the first half had it not been for the heroics of Petr Cech who stood tall and justified his selection over Bernd Leno once again.

This season, Arsenal's talented - if inconsistent - star has played in six matches (five Premier League and one Europa League), scoring two goals and providing zero assists, a stat Ozil has prided himself with across previous seasons. It has been a tough adjustment period for a player who, at 36, is in the twilight of his career but his faultless display against Everton showed he is getting there.

The Spaniard remarked: "I am very happy, we need time, winning is important for this".

Torreira completely deserved to be given his first start of the season for Arsenal.
