Here’s Why Ariana Grande & Pete Davidson Reportedly Split & Ended Engagement

Love blossomed for the pop star and the Saturday Night Live cast member after they met on SNL, and they became engaged just weeks after making their relationship Instagram official in May.

14, 2018, TMZ reported that the high-profile couple have mutually chose to split up and call off their engagement after five months of dating. They're just two people who found love quickly and make each other happy all the time. "It's not shocking to anyone".

"I have no wish", Grande wrote on a photo of Davidson on her Instagram Story on June 25, the night before her 25th birthday.

Ariana and Pete were last spotted in public together last week.

Ariana's former beau, Mac Miller (26), was found dead after an apparent drug overdose at his home in San Fernando Valley, reports TMZ.

Davidson and Grande began dating shortly after she broke up with late rapper Mac Miller. Her team had issued a statement which read, "Given the events of the past couple of years, Ariana is going to take some much needed time to heal and mend".

That did not stop the writers from making three different references to Davidson's relationship with Grande in the show, dedicating part of host Adam Driver's monologue, a Kyle Mooney short and a segment on Weekend Update to the relationship. Grande's says Miller's death for continuing to affect her, and cites it as the reason for canceling a Saturday appearance at cancer research benefit, the Barbara Berlanti Heroes fundraising gala.

Grande is reportedly going through a hard time of her life, having tweeted that she needs a break from the spotlight.
