Last week we heard about a special "Thunder Purple" OnePlus 6T which had been announced for China. But, in a unusual turn of events, that's not the case. There's neither expandable storage nor a 512GB variant this time, so you might have to wait till May next year for saving more Netflix series on your phone.
Then again, OnePlus typically releases its smartphones in several colors after their launches, so a new color variant at some point should have been expected.
That colour looks a lot like the bright purple phones we've been seeing from the likes of Samsung, though OnePlus has added an "evocative "S" curve" on the back of the phone to "highlight the depth of colour".More news: Red Star will be fighting for whole of Serbia, insists coach Milojevic

The new OnePlus 6T Thunder Purple Edition will go on sale in India starting November 16 via Amazon.in, oneplus.in, Reliance Digital, Croma, and all OnePlus exclusive offline stores. Presumably sales will open up at 9am GMT.
Talking about launch offers, HDFC credit and debit card users will be able to get an instant discount of Rs 1,500, which will bring down the cost to Rs 40,499.
Of course, you get all of the OnePlus 6T's other features, too, including the 6.41-inch 2340×1080 AMOLED display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor, dual rear cameras (16MP+20MP), 16MP front-facing camera, Android 8.1 Oreo, and the 3700mAh battery. The new phone, which replaces the OnePlus 6, comes with a couple of unique features. While the base model with 6 GB RAM and 128GB storage comes with the Mirror Black color only. There is also 8GB / 256GB storage variant which is priced at Rs. 45,999 in the country. In connectivity, OnePlus 6T carries USB-C Type port, Bluetooth 5.0, WiFi and NFC.
