Having teased the arrival of a frozen wasteland over the past few weeks, season seven kicks off with a giant iceberg slamming into the island, transforming the south west corner of the island by giving many beloved locations - including Tilted Towers - a welcome winter makeover.

This season, you get the Zenith and Lynx progressive outfits instantly when you purchase the Battle Pass, both of which can level-up to unlock new styles.

Fortnite is also getting a new vehicle with the arrival of season 7, so get ready to take to the skies with X-4 Stormwing Plane. Winter was wielding the sword from the mobile title of Epic Games' past when he makes his first appearance in the official Season 7 launch trailer for Fortnite.

According to Epic Games, players will get some say on what is put in the Fortnite Block, with successful designs needing to be shared on social media with a special hashtag attached. "We'll be looking closely at social for candidates". Everyone else will get access to the new feature on December 13.
