Chinese smartphone maker OnePlus is all set to launch the McLaren Edition of its flagship smartphone OnePlus 6T in India. The main highlight of the smartphone is that it comes with 10GB of RAM and company's new fast charging technology called Wrap Charge 30. After launching the OnePlus 6T in October, the company has already introduced a "Thunder Purple" variant. The company says that it has used the new Integrated Circuits in both the charger and the phone. While it does appear that Warp Charge is just a simple rebrand of Dash Charge, Warp Charge 30 promises to give you one day of power in 20 minutes.
The OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition includes the "Warp Charge 30", which is the company's new charging standard. Finally, there are exclusive themes and animation on the new device to promote the McLaren partnership. Taking design elements from McLaren F1 vehicle - MCL33 2018, the OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition is the first smartphone designed in association with Formula 1 racing team. Incidentally, the OnePlus 6T standard edition variant featuring 8GB of RAM and 256GB storage retails for GBP 579 (INR 52,500 approx.). It features a carbon-fiber texture under its rear glass and an orange lining which shines when viewed from different angles.
It wouldn't be a true special edition without some McLaren-branded accompanying knick-knacks, now would it?
The OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition also comes with 256GB of storage. The McLaren Edition will be the most expensive phone ever released by OnePlus.More news: Klopp fined for wild celebrations after Liverpool victor

OnePlus has gone on and McLaren-ified the software as well.
The OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition boasts a carbon fiber pattern beneath the back panel while McLaren's signature Papaya Orange color has been included at the bottom of the device.
The OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition will be available from 13 December. If you've got the T-Mobile version of the OnePlus 6T, you can check for the update by opening Settings System System update Check for update.
The phone will be sold in limited quantity, so if you're interested, you should get your hands on the McLaren Edition while it's still available. The newer phone has a smaller teardrop notch, an in-display fingerprint sensor, and no headphone jack. The technology behind Warp Charge 30 is Oppo's Super VOOC (Voltage Open Loop Multi-step Constant-Current Charging).
