"1-2" of snow across central IN overnight

IMPACTS: No concerns to travel for most of the day Sunday, but once the snow arrives, expect road conditions to deteriorate rather quickly.

"Any snow or patchy ice on roadways or elevated surfaces will melt by late morning Tuesday as temperatures climb back above freezing", the NWS adds.

"A$3 s breezy conditions continue, highs in the teens and 20s will help maintain that Arctic feel in the air", the weather service said. Temperatures start to moderate on Thursday and Friday, with highs potentially rebounding into the 40s by Saturday. As it looks now, we are looking at a stretch of sub-zero temperatures, starting overnight Monday and continuing into Friday morning. Overnight, a Wind Chill Advisory was issued from 6 pm Thursday until noon on Friday.

Temperatures will not be as cold Saturday.

While how much snow will fall is uncertain, "One thing we are sure of is that the front will usher in some of coldest air of the season Wednesday and Thursday", Junker said.
