Ask any Apex Legends fan and they'll tell you that the wait for season 1 has been a frustrating one. It's only for the Havoc, but if you acquire the skin and use it in-game, you'll notice that the gun starts to look a bit different as players increase their kill count.
After weeks of anticipation, Respawn Entertainment and EA have today announced the start date for Season 1 of Apex Legends and it's kicking off sooner than you might think. For example, if you're on level 20 for the season when you buy the Battle Pass, you'll unlock all rewards for every level up to 20, plus three special Battle Pass skins.
Inven Global will be covering more on Apex Legends updates as they happen in real time.
The Battle Pass will retail for 950 Apex Coins (equal to $9.50) at a baseline but you can also purchase the Battle Pass Bundle for 2,800 Apex Coins to unlock the next 25 levels of the Battle Pass. It seems Octane is available to play tomorrow, when we'll also see the arrival of Season 1. There's a single Wild Frontier Legend skin to be earned, 5 Apex Packs and 18 seasonal stat trackers. Better yet, despite the pass costing 950 Apex Coins, you can earn 1000 more from the pass itself, so dedicated players can effectively earn the next Battle Pass (or unlock Octane) through regular play.More news: PM statement on the New Zealand attack: 15 March 2019

And Horne's post confirms the release of the game's first new Legend, Octane, will come alongside the new season.
"We've tried to create a Battle Pass where first-time spenders can get a strong base of weapon and character cosmetics to fill out their initial collection at a deep discount".
If you decide to not pick up the Battle Pass, there are also free rewards up for grabs for everyone.
