Gearbox has also teased a number of separate announcements for non-Borderlands releases.
Earlier today, Gearbox Software dropped what many are assuming to be a Borderlands 3 teaser trailer. The teaser itself shows a moving camera angling through the familiar Borderlands iconography, with uncolored 3D models of several characters from Borderlands, Borderlands 2, and Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel. Over on the official Borderlands Twitter, it has been confirmed that Borderlands will be at the panel tomorrow, with the tweet including a teaser trailer subtitled "Mask of Mayhem".
On top of that, it indicates that the reveal is coming tomorrow at Gearbox's own panel at PAX East. The first teaser for the third main Borderlands game came weeks ago and was followed by more teasers afterwards that appeared to point to past games in the series.More news: Changes coming at FAA after crashes, watchdog says

The trailer and details supplied by Gerarbox don't specifically name-check Borderlands 3, but whatever the title ends up being it will most certainly be the highly anticipated follow-up to what is still one of the best selling games of all time - Borderlands 2. Other projects from Gearbox have also been teased, though people aren't too sure what to make of those.
