Private Division and Panache Digital Games have announced the release date of the PC version of Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey: August 27, 2019. With a digital PlayStation 4 and Xbox One release coming in December. Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey is out to make sure you experience it first-hand.
In Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey the players are called to survive and evolve in the lovely but brutal territories of Africa in a period that goes from ten to two million years ago. It's looking a little rough, sure, but it is Alpha footage and there's still six months to go before the game releases on PS4, so fingers crossed things look a little more polished by then.
Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey spans millions of years as players attempt to survive Neogene Africa as humanity's primate predecessors, evolving and expanding their territory while passing skills and knowledge over to the next generation. The game and its mechanics rely on evolution, discovery, and survival as players traverse a variety of terrain and environments, encounter various predators, and learn new abilities to pass along to the next generation of their clan.More news: Threat from Iran diminished, potential for United States attack 'on hold': Defence secretary

Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey is the first game from Panache Digital Games, a studio founded by Patrice Désilets. This new video also features a brief playthrough with Désilets and shines some new light on the game, including its inventive approach to fear, the most primordial of human feelings.
"Private Division and Panache Digital Games share a passion for providing the best possible experience to all our players", said Kari Toyama, Senior Producer at Private Division. With a unique setting, this game is meant to captivate gamers of all types. It is time to adapt and survive as Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey comes PC on 27 August and consoles in December 2019.
It's hard to describe exactly how the game with a generational scale will play out, so check out the second episode in Panache Digital's dive into the mechanics of their upcoming title.
