This June 2019 PlayStation Plus owners can download both Sonic Mania and Borderlands: The Handsome Jack Collection for free. Firstly, there's the stylish lootin' and shootin' of Borderlands: The Handsome Collection, which features both Borderlands 2 (and all DLC) and Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel in wonderful remastered forms, with 60 frames per second smoothness and split-screen multiplayer. Sure, it won't have a presence at the LA event, but it's (probably) already won the hearts and minds of gamers everywhere with what's looking like an all-timer set of PS Plus June 2019 games.
If you need to get ready for Borderlands 3, June will be the time to pick up Borderlands: The Handsome Collection for free. Two blockbuster games are about to rotate in for the next batch of PlayStation Plus freebies, one of which should help prepare players for one of the year's most anticipated games.

Sonic Mania proved that vintage Sonic is still the best Sonic. While it looks like classic Sonic, it's an all-new game with brand new levels, designed and developed by people who have a genuine, deep-rooted love for the blue blitz ball. It made Sonic Forces look like a fan-made hack-job - which is amusing, given that's kind of how the makers of Mania got SEGA's attention in the first place.
Other than the rumored title, there aren't many details about the DLC, such as how long it will be, how much it will cost, or what platforms it will be available on. The result was a game praised by both Sonic fans and gaming critics.
