We know we said never to believe in leaks, but a new one that surfaced today is painfully accurate for Pokémon Sword and Shield. Pokemon Sword and Shield take place in The Galar Region, which is an expansive land that hints from the Pokemon company have hinted is at least partially based on the United Kingdom. What wasn't clear is whether you'll be facing wild Pokemon without seeing them, or if they'll be present in the world similarly to how they were in Let's Go, or a combination of the two.

For me though the cooler additions are the new "Wild Area" zones. Some Pokemon, on the other hand, will pursue you, so make sure that you're ready to fight before you approach wild Pokemon you see in the overworld.

Unique to Sword and Shield will be the ability to transform your Pokemon during battle into giant, towering forms of themselves. This new trailer revealed Pokemon's interpretation of Raid bosses which see groups of friends battle one huge Pokemon.

He also hints as to the Starter Pokemon evolutions, with Scorbunny looking to turn into a Fighting-type by the sounds of it, as well as new Pokémon like Pamper, an Electric Corgi Pokémon, and how Gyms will work. Hopefully a future Pokemon game will be one big Wild Area, instead of confining it to certain locations.

Pokémon Sword and Shield release on Nintendo Switch on November 15 worldwide. But now we know about snapping turtle Drednaw, crow taxi Corviknight, scared sheep Pokemon Wooloo, and flower Pokemon Gossifleur that involves into cotton-headed Eldegoss.

We were also introduced to the two version legendaries for Sword and Shield: Zacian and Zamazenta. What do you think about this upcoming game?
